Mothers Day Card
Hi everyone
This is a card I created for Mothers Day

I layered the card using a solid red cardstock as a background.
Next layer was the print in which I loved the vibrant colors.
I created a band using the red cardstock and a gold color cardstock.
I glued some brown color cotton lace.
Using one of my square cutting die, I cut a red and gold piece of cardstock.
The bobbin was threaded with embroidery floss to give it a real bobbin look.

The inside of card is really plain and simple.
I layered the gold and red cardstock to keep the flow of card the same.
I then put in the wording inside and stamped a heart in the corner.
Hope you enjoyed my creation and be sure to check out the

Nana is Tea-Riffic!

Greetings fellow paper crafters!  Today I wanted to get a head start on my Mother's Day cards, so I started by making a card for my mom, from her grandchild.  I am in love with the You Take The Cake digi set from Sunsational Stamps.  You can find the set Here.
I started by printing the teapot and the teacup on patterned paper by Authentique, they have such pretty papers.  I also printed a series of the flower blossom on the papers as well.  I used my one inch Fiskars circle punch to pop out the flowers and fussy cut the teapot and cut.  I alternated the two patterns of the flowers along the left side, for a border.
Nana You Are Tea-Riffic Card
I cut out the cute double frame using the Fitted Frames 3 Curvy Rectangles by Elizabeth Craft Design.  I popped up the cup and pot overlapping the frame, added a heart from a  Raisin Boat set.  I made the 'Nana' banner with some alpha stickers in my stash, mounted the whole kit-n-kaboodle on a salmon pink cardstock base and called it done!

Best Mom

 Good Morning Peeps,

I am shylaa here today to show you my work on Hoppy Set - Digi Stamp.

Steps involved in making this card.
1. Printed the digi on a 300 GSM Matrix paper and water coloured the digi's with distress inks.
2. Stenciled the heart image with modelling paste and Timholtz stencil. Added some 3D glitters to the blank space on the heart image and adhered the sentiment over it.
3. Used the Salty ocean distress inks for cloud effect  at background
4.Arranged the digis in a way to the card base to get a pleasant card

Always Close To My Heart

Hi, there crafty friends, LeeAnn here today with a project not so easy for me to make. This is a Mother's Day card that I will be taking to the Cemetery on Mother's Day, to give to my mom. Mother's Day is 2 days after what would be my mom's 72nd birthday.

I used the Bear Love and Always Pick You sets for this project.
First I printed the two digital sets in the desired size, I then used my Scan N Cut to cut the Bear and a set of the flowers.
I then used some rectangle stitched dies to cut out the tombstone layers, and a hillside stitched to cut the lawn. I used a postage stamp die to cut out the background later. I used Summer Sky "fireworks" spray from Imagine Crafts to spritz the background.
The sentiment is from the Bear Love set and I used MS Paint to size it properly, color the background and then printed.
I used my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers to color the bear and flowers/vase. At this point, I used Kaisercraft double stick tape to adhere the background, hillside, and bear. I used my Xyron X to adhere the smaller stone cut to the larger as well as the little sentiments and the flowers. I used dimensional foam to adhere the tombstone and the sentiment and my project was complete.

I hope you have enjoyed this project. Please come back tomorrow to see what Shylaa has made for you. Please be sure to follow our blog.

Always Pink You

Spring is Ducky

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with another post for Sunsational Stamps.  Have you seen all the stamps and images in the store?  Today, I'm using Sping is Ducky.

Spring is Ducky

Aren't they cute?

I love these feet sticking out of the water, so I just had to use this image!  I used an oval die to cut the image, cutting around the pussy willows so they remained free.  Then I matted this on a larger oval.

I colored the image with Copic Markers.  To create the background I used a Sizzix embossing folder to emboss the front panel of the card.  Then to emphasize the pattern, I then inked it and wrapped it   with twine.

Don't you love it?

Be sure you visit in the store to see all the fun products available.

So happy you stopped by.

Hoppy Mother's day

Hi, Marji here,  I'm back this week with a fun Mother's day card using that adorable new bunny set I gave you a peak of last week.
You must go check out the set in the store,
I created this cute scene in my SIL program and cut 3 sets of balloons to make a fun card.

The little basket is a die cut I have, I thought it would be cute for him to be giving his mom some carrots as part of her gift.

I used my gel pens to add some shine to his face, foot and the butterfly.

A Hoppy Mother's Day to you...

Hello friends, I am here today with another gorgeous digital stamp set from Sunsational Stamps. This 'Hoppy set' is available to purchase online at http://sunsationalstamps.com/product/hoppy-set/.

As you can see above, it is a chock full set with three cute bunnies and a number of sentiments and embellishments for your card making or paper craft projects. A versatile set too - suitable for many occassions - Easter, Mothers Day, Fathers Day and birthdays just to name a few. The background of this card uses a gelli print that I did some time ago - I like to mono print a number of backgrounds and then use them as I see fit at the time - they could be used for a card, planner page or scrapbook layout. Whilst it's tricky to see in the photo, the shine of the metallic paints in this piece is just lovely. Let's take a closer look...

The bunny and flowers were coloured using Zig Clean Colour Real Brush pens. I am still learning to colour with these but like the watercoloured look they provide. The sentiment 'Hoppy Mothers Day' was coloured using these pens also. Let's take one last close up look at that cute bunny....

Thanks again for joining me and I hope you will pop on over to the Sunsational Stamps online shop at http://sunsationalstamps.com/shop/ and blog at http://sunsationalstamps.com/blog/ to see the amazing work by the Design Team - such a talented bunch! Until next time....

Just Hopping By ........

..... to share a card with you using the very cute 'Hoppy Set':

You can find it here in the shop area of the website.

I've used one of the bunnies and the 'Mother's Day' sentiment for my card.  I decided to make my bunny a different colour so I used my Promarkers to colour the image in and then I fussy cut the bunny and stuck him and the sentiment to a circle die cut.

I layered the card up with patterned papers and and my embellishments are punched paper dots - easy to match to your paper and great if you're posting your card because they're flat!

Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend

Just Hatched

Today I'm sharing another card I made with Sunsational Stamps digital images.  I used the Eggstra Special Easter and the Eggstra Adorable collections from their April release.

I used the duck and nest from the first collection and the shell from the second collection to make this sliding pop-up card.

I've made sliding pop-up cards before, but this is the first time I made it in the horizontal or landscape orientation.  Making it this way allows for a wider image, and that's what I wanted for this l'il duck.
But I want to tell you a bit more about how I combined the various digis to make this image.  First, I imported all the images into my Silhouette.  Working with the duck first, I placed his feet where I wanted them, knowing I wanted them to peek over the top of the nest.

With the nest, I made two copies.  On one, I erased the top pieces as I wanted to place it in front of the duck.  The second nest, I placed behind the duck.

The final touch was to erase the bunny from under the egg shell and then placed the shell on the little duck's head.  Here's a closer look:

For the card, itself, I started by printing and cutting mats of digital patterned paper from the Adorableness Kit by Traci Reed.  I matched it to Melon Mambo, Summer Sun and Garden Green card stocks for the mats and card base.

On the reverse, a simple congratulations on the birth of a daughter.

The beauty of this 3D card is that it closes flat for mailing.  And here's a look at that:

I'll see you in two weeks with another card.  In the meantime, if you want to take a look at all the photo-polymer and digital stamps Sunsational Stamps, just click here

I Heart You Mom

Hi there Crafty Friends,

I’m back this week with a Mother’s Day card using a fun image from Sunsational Stamp’s “Hoppy Set”.  This stamp set is new and you can find it in the Sunsational Stamps Store.

I Heart Mom-Apr 17-ocm_SS

With the help of my Silhouette Cameo and some digital papers, I set to work making this sweet card.  The first thing I do when I create any card is to design it in my Silhouette Cameo software.  This allows me to visualize what my end product will be and helps me to keep things organized when it comes time to put the card together.  Here is a peek at what a typical design would look like when I set it up in my Cameo software.

Silhouette Screen-Apr 17-ocm_SS

I have each piece laid out on my virtual mat with the digital papers chosen (the two pieces off to the right-side will need to be printed and cut on a second piece of paper).  I also have a template off to the left hand side of what I want the card to look like once it’s assembled. Once I am happy with the design, I will print it off and then send it to my Silhouette Cameo to cut each piece.

I used a couple of my Copic markers to color the bunny and the hearts. I brushed the edges of the bunny circle with a sponge brush and some Stampin’ Up Cameo Coral ink. I also brushed the edges of the sentiment with some Close To My Heart Sea Breeze ink.

I hope you have enjoyed my card today.  I’ll be back in two weeks to share another fabulous Sunsational Stamp card.  In the meantime, don't forget to check out all the other photo-polymer and digi stamps in the Sunsational Stamps Store.

You are my Sunshine

Hello there, Marji here, I am sharing a quick card using one of the new sets.
You must go check out the set in the store, SO adorable!!
I let my cameo cut out the bunny for me along with the You are my sunshine tag I had in my SIL library. I added the line to cut above the words so I could tuck the bunny behind the words.
I cut his hands out and popped them up to make the flowers appear to be in his hands.

I used the title from the Spring is Blooming 2 set for the inside of my card.
I used the offset feature in my SIL program to cut around the words then arranged them in a fun way.

hoppy easter

This Easter card was so much fun, I wanted to create something different. To create this card I copied two Hunny  Bunny stamp on white cardstock. Using the cut out I then traced one on the printed paper and the other on the lilac colored paper. With spectrum noir I colored the bunny which will used as the facing of this card. Using scissors I cut around the outline of the head and body making it into two separate pieces.
ASSEMBLY: I attached the ears by gluing small piece of cardstock making a folding edge to ease the flip. The body part was assembled in the same manner except that the cardstock covered the entire bottom part. To hide all the assembly cardstock I covered it with the printed paper giving it a clean looking card.
On the front part of card I cut out black cardstock and glued the wording to it also added two easter egg pins on each side.

Inside of card I used the stamp set Eggstra Adorable. After all parts were colored I glued everything in its place, including a quote. These wonderful stamps can be purchased at the sensational stamp store using this link. http://www.sunsationalstamps.com

Ducky Shaker Card

Hi this is Mona I am very happy  to be part of the Designer Team of Sunsational Crafts. This is a project I created for this new company.  I used the. new April release digital stamps called  Spring Ducky to create this fun Shaker card. Most of my colouring was done with  copic markers, I die cut two fancy scallop tag dies from Kat Scrappiness. I die cut a circle in the middle of the white tag then adhered a piece of acetate behind it. Then added foam tape behind the white tag and sprinkled  sequins also from Kat Scrappiness spring collection on the back of the acetate then glued the second tag behind it creating the shaker. Adhered the shaker onto my card base ,added the sentiment and also added a piece of twine thru the hole of the tag. This completes my card hope you enjoyed this quick tutorial.
